Spiritual Reflection in Three Languages on Good Friday 2018

The churches of the Cross Cultural Covenant Community joined together for worship at the First Presbyterian Church of Littleton on Good Friday. We worshiped in equal parts English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Many thanks to everyone who helped translate the whole service into all three languages so everyone could follow along simultaneously!

The worship service was a quiet, reflective, Tenebrae service. As the last phrases of Jesus were read aloud in various languages, candles were snuffed out to slowly bring us into darkness. Pastor Carol Parsons delivered a poetic Good Friday homily that was also translated into Spanish and Vietnamese.

About a hundred people joined us for a cross-cultural dinner and the worship service.
